Ovulation tests are all negative, mucous disagrees

So I got these ovulation sticks from Amazon (not name brand ones) and am checking daily and so far this month I have no positive (day 16 of my cycle). My cycle is irregular, ranging from 22 to 32 days. Up to now I was having positive results every month with the clear blue, but they started getting pricey after trying for months. Two days ago I had the egg white discharge that I usually have when I’m ovulating or close to it. Is this a definite sign and the test was just wrong? Or could the discharge mean something else?

It could mean ypu aren't ovulating properly.

I got a crappy brand on Amazon that never turned positive. FWIW they came in green pouches. Anyway try a different brand. Even if they’re still cheapo ones.

What brand? I use the easy@home brand off Amazon and have never had any issues with them.

OP again: I used Wondfo — it’s weird bc even the control line sometimes is super faint. I’ve used the easy@home before this and had no issues either.

Have used pregmate from Amazon many times. They work for me!

Go by mucus. The ovulation sticks didn’t work for me but I got pregnant by checking CM.

+2 for Pregmate. Make sure you don't drink a lot before you test. I will test every time I urinate from day 10+ onward just so I don't miss the surge.

You could have missed your surge. Some people are slow risers and some are quick. Mine can show up within a couple of hours and then be gone. It does usually happen a day or so after my CM starts to seem right.
