Suggestions? Good brands?
I don’t want anything too big. Other gamer suggestions, for a very small setup?? Thanks in advance! |
| What kind of gaming? PC, console, etc.? |
|
Just got a pair for my 12yr old. Granted I am upgrading them for Xmas. Brands that kept coming up was:
Logitech HyperX Razer Corsair We started some cheaper Amazon ones that honestly worked just fine just DS wanted to go wireless. My research was for USB headsets for PC. |
| I asked my teen gamers and they said Steelseries. No to Razer (all glitz and no game). |
| My gamer DS 16 uses Hyper X headphones but Steelseries for mouse, game board etc. He likes the Hyper X better for headphones. When I walk in his room, all his friends are also using Hyper X headphones (he has 2 monitors, so games on one and watches his friends on the other!) |

He’s really just into roblox and fortnight now on laptop (an old air that has about 6 keys missing). He’s doing more and more group chats.

Then just get a basic one b/c he'll upgrade to something like Hyper X by middle school when the boys start really gaming. |
| I got DS a pair from the Turtle Beach brand last year - they are still going strong and I remember they were also affordable. They do have quite a few different models that range in gaming system compatibility and price. |
| My kid has a Corsair headset, he's had it for over a year and hasn't broken it yet, that's definitely a record for him. |
| The younger kids like mine (13 yo) are into Razor products but as a PP said, older gamers may prefer an upgrade. |
