I absolutely love the Progressive “Don’t turn into your parents” commercial. I’ve seen it so many times and it still makes me laugh. The writing and comedic timing is amazing and I want more of the bit!

I love the Nationwide commercials with Payton Manning and Brad Paisley but I will be honest, I just had to google to see which insurance company they were advertising for!

This is more sentimental, but the Etsy ads. The one where the family gives the new boyfriend a present at Christmas made me cry. And Shiori’s necklace!!! So sweet.

How is it that the insurance industry has become the master of commercial advertising? There are so many I find hilarious.

All of the Geico commercials. I actually watch them for fun sometimes on YouTube. The cloggers, Marco Polo, etc. BTW the Martin Agency in Richmond creates their commercials. They're so funny.

I could also do with a classic commercial: Jhoon Rhee Nobody bothers me.....

I love the Progressive commercials, including the "don't turn into your parents" one and the zoom call one with everyone talking over each other, using a dust buster, and being unable to frame themselves on camera.

My current favorite is the Match 2020 commercial, which is absolutely amazing. If you haven't seen it, you must!

Because they are the ultimate commodity, they have standout in some way. You used to have serious insurance like the dude from the Unit with the Gravely Voice of god, but even those have turned funny b/c people will stay and watch them.
