My daughter works in a daycare. Normally they get a $200 bonus in paycheck plus parents chip in.
This year getting zero from provider so parents going to try to do more. Hope so. It is hard work for low pay |

| I'm doing about the same as last year ($200) but also giving each of the two teachers (the only two because of covid restrictions) an individual cash gift in a card as well. It's so hard, and we so appreciate that they are in a really difficult situation this year and have made things as normal and stable as possible for the kids. |

What is a bonus fund???? Are you the employer of the daycare?
Are you a parent? I used to do $30 gift card for the 6 daycare teachers in the classroom. |

| I did $600 (2 kids) for the main fund (split between all daycare employees based on hours worked) plus I think I'll do a $100 gift card (amazon or target) to the four teachers (2 per kid). I decided to up the daycare amount (vs last year) and eliminated Christmas presents to adult family members, which also saves me time. The daycare teachers are the only reason I'm still employed right now. |

In home daycare provider and I get anything from a week's salary to nothing (not even a card!).
