Can any parents provide feedback on the District Irish Dance Academy?

Also, feedback on good Irish dance schools that are fun for kids just getting started and who might not be serious?

Our dancers transferred to District Irish Dance Academy when it opened from another school in the area. I can’t emphasize enough how balanced DIDA is, how focused the instructors are on the goals of the dancer, and that the health and safety of the dancers come first. It’s Teamwork, Technique & Tradition combined with Fun, Fitness & Friendship. The instructors are young, yet their experience is rich & deep.

And in this time of Covid, DIDA was the first in the area to take their classes virtual & implement a safe strategy to return to the studio only when DC mandates allow & the instructors feel the environment is safe to do so.

It’s the perfect place for wee dancers to dip their toes into the tradition of irish dance, & for experienced dancers to take their work deeper.

Can’t say enough good things about DIDA.

This sounds awesome!! My family and I love Irish music. This would be perfect for my energetic five year old!

I have a computer and zoom, do I need anything else for the class?

Some dance space. They don't require any special shoes until you get serious - sneakers are fine.
