Kaiser on the Maryland Exchange

| I just signed up for Kaiser on the Maryland Exchange to get IVF coverage. I have done IVF cycles in the past and have a documented history of infertility (previous IVF cycles, D3 bloodwork, HSG, SA etc). I've never used Kaiser before. How do I go about getting a referral for SG? Do I see their OB? Do you have any OB recommendations? I know my coverage does not start until January, but I just want to figure out the process now. |

Once you've had your medical records transferred, I would think it might be possible to request the SG referral at your first OB appointment. I'm not sure if they would make you go through the testing again.
Since I had Kaiser when we started trying we had to do the testing through them before getting our referral. And the Federal Kaiser plans only covered 50% of IUIs, no IVF. |
