Madeira

Has anyone considered Madeira for high school. Its an all girls school. Curious if it is less competitive. Are there companion boys school?

It is a wonderful school. If I lived closer I would not hesitate to send my daughter there. I knew several graduates from Madeira when I was in college (UVA) and they were bright, kind, interesting young women. It is a special place. Certainly, competitive and the graduates go on to wonderful schools.

Yes, it's a terrific school, with a beautiful campus. It's also a boarding school, although there are day students as well. Great if you're into horses too!
