Recommend your JEANS for WORKPLACE

Anonymous
I work in a casual office environment and would love to wear jeans, but would like some recommendations re. brands, styles, and bricks and mortar stores. Ideally, I would like to spend under $100. I like the jeans and jacket/structured cardigan look, but am finding a really hard time finding jeans that I can afford that also look appropriate for a "casual Friday" environment. I'm 5'6 and 120 lbs with no curves and suffer from "baggy butt syndrome" whenever I try on jeans.

I am wearing Gap 1969 jeans today in a dark wash. They have several styles/cuts so maybe one will fit you? They are about $70 at full price although they are always doing friends and family type promotions for 25-30% off.

They should be a dark wash and more of a trouser cut rather than a traditional jean.

Gap Long and Lean style jeans are great for a casual office, IMHO. I wear these to work on fridays and I love them. They're casual but not sloppy. I also got some trouser jeans at Ann Taylor that I love.

Talbots has some nice, structured trouser jeans. I have two pair, one of them with rear pocket flaps are good for baggy butt.
