$20

Don not do this and put them in a bad position. USPS personnel are not allowed to accept cash or cash equivalent (gift cards). They can only accept small non-cash or cash equivalent gifts with value less than $20.

I hate our mailman. He’s lazy and rude. I don’t want to give him anything but a tip might make him nicer and actually sort the Mail.

I’ve never done this before, but man it has been a rough year for them and I’m thinking about $50

Our mail lady leaves treats for our dogs in our mailbox. She started about a month ago.
I definitely want to tip.

I read this as "trapping the mailman" and I thought a dog was posting on DCUM.

Sort the mail?

Sometimes when mail is delivered to apartment buildings they just dump it all on the lobby floor rather than sorting into mailboxes. It’s annoying.

Many years ago when I first moved into my house we would one one regular mail carrier whom we came to know well. I always left her a card with $20 and a small box of treats. She retired and later we started getting random people delivering mail. I don’t do anything these days.

I was planning to stick $20 in a card. Guess he is getting a Subway gift card now.
