Hi: Does anyone have any experience about St.Elizabeth's?We are looking at it for our DS for kindergarten. Thanks!! |
Large class sizes. |
Thanks PP. I heard similiar comments too. |
Are they that off base with the publics? We are at a different parochial with big classes but classes have a teacher and an aide. I'd rather 30 kids (my child's class) with 2 adults than 23 kids with 1 adult. |
As a St. E's parent, I can tell you the class size is good and on target with other Catholic schools. All classes from K-3 are staffed with 2 teachers (1 is the instructional aide), I don't know of any other Catholic school in this area that has two staff in a class through the 3rd. There are 3 K classes that max at 20 kids, again with 2 staff. Once they are in first, it goes to 30 max. My child is in K with 15 kids and 2 teachers and couldn't be any happier with the school. Great place, great environment, great staff, and run by a great principal. Very fortunate to be there. |

Poster 07:59: OP here. Thank you very much for sharing your experience. Do they differentiate for math and reading in the elementary school? Are you happy with the arts and music enrichment? Thanks |
