| Restaurant versions of meals will always be loaded with more fat, sugar, and salt than home-cooked versions of the same dish. Are you looking for different food ideas? If so, the answer is ANY CUISINE if you cook at home. If you’re looking strictly for takeout, stick to dishes that are mostly vegetables with minimal sauces. Also look for richly flavored dishes like those common in Thai and Ethiopian cuisines. You’ll get full on a lot less when a meal is super spicy (both in terms of heat and flavor). |
