I'd like to send food gifts with products from Virginia. Google turns up quite a few, but it's hard to tell the quality and some of them look pretty commercial/mass-produced.
If anyone has experience with a Virginia gift basket like this that they'd recommend, please post it! |
| Virginia Diner peanuts are good and packaged nicely for gifts. It’s an actual restaurant/shop in Wakefield (I don’t know if they’re actually made there or not, but they’re at least tasty!). The restaurant is good if you’re ever driving through there. |
| In "The American President," he sent her a ham. |
| Another vote for Virginia Diner peanuts. Gearharts Chocolates, too. |

RVA has a couple of places making great moonshine. Belle Isle Moonshine. Not sure how shipping works. Usually stores like Fresh Market have good local selections. |
How does moonshine taste? Idk that I have ever had it. |

| I’d check out Cheesetique. They might have local products. Worth calling. Also there is a gift shop in Shirlington that sells state themed tea towels...I forget the name...also online here (different shop) : https://www.uncommongoods.com/product/state-dish-towel |
