| What works if you have no hitch? Want to hold 4 bikes |
| Get a hitch. Much better. |
|
Order a hitch from etrailer dot com, and install it.
Problem. Solved. Ps -get the 2” receiver instead of the cheaper 1.25”. Way more versatile. |

I ordered my hitch from etrailer and installed it with some assistance from the wife. Took about 10 minutes to install. I held it in place while she bolted it in. I then finished it up by tightening it all up.
Job done. |

It's usually 4 bolts but I can understand why some folks may not go that route.
U-haul will install a hitch today. No problem. You can install it yourself or have them do it. https://www.uhaul.com/Trailer-Hitches/ |
We had uhaul do this in March. Best $125 we ever spent. |
| I had a dealer install mine, and it was surprisingly reasonable for OEM parts and wiring on a Honda. |
| Also had uhaul install our hitch - we had a Rav 4. |

If you can change a tire and plug in a power cord to a wall socket, then you can install a hitch. It’s basically the same type process – the hitch attaches with nuts and bolts in holes that are already in the cars frame, and the wiring harness (if you even need one for trailer towing) plugs in to the existing tail light fixture.
It’s literally a 15-20 minute job. I can’t believe people pay money to have this done for them. It’s like paying someone to tie your shoes. |
