I have to believe those PPs are carrying around some deep-seated guilt. They know they aren't doing their part and they get worked up when other people are being more cautious/following guidance. It's the only explanation for people who would feel the need to say nasty things to other people whose actions don't harm them in the least. At this point, anyone who says "I follow the science" or similar in the COVID threads to justify themselves doing something totally unnecessary OR doing things that are clearly risky and selfish. That phrase has lost all real-world meaning on here.

posters who disdain anyone and everyone in the top 5 percent. It’s impossible to have a reasonable discussion. we’re just entitled, spoiled living in bubbles. And all our kids are derisively called ‘snowflakes’ who are looking to take advantage of the system.
