I just do not get the appeal. He's pretty but not good looking to me, if that makes any sense. And I find his personality really intolerable. I totally get what Taylor sees in Kelce in terms of personality -- he's funny and affable and you can tell he's someone who just likes having a good, relaxed time. Zero angst, extremely comfortable in his own skin.

Burrow comes off as arrogant and try hard to me, and also a little entitled.

Also, and I say this as no great fan of the Kansas City, but Travis Kelce has two Super Bowl rings and Joe Burrow has none.

No one has made a cogent argument as to why TS would need to have an arranged relationship. She doesn’t need more fans, money, fame.

Well what she got from him was ads for her concert movie for free during nfl games. The relationship has also increased interest. I think that there is some confusion as to being in a fully fake arranged situation and having a probably casual-ish relationship that is monetized and utilized for other goals besides the relationship itself. Tons of celebrities do that all the time, Brangelina for example was a huge part of Brad and Angelina’s PR for a decade. I’d also put Kylie and Travis Scott there too and Drake and JLo.

Yes but in what universe would the press not be following her every move? Everything she does gets followed and scrutinize and amplified around because she is a huge celebrity. Unless she goes completely hermit mode her every move is going get reported on.

TS benefits from making her fans feel like they are her friends and like all fans are in this “club.” It feels good to be part of something. The cost of this is the swarms that follow her. She profits from it and is also beholden to it.

Do you guys think she stopped dating Healy due to fan reactions? If so, that’s wild. If that is true, then she’s not entirely free despite being a billionaire.

That seemed like a casual fling. Matt seems a bit immature. He’s not necessarily a bad person, but I could see a 33 year-old woman, wanting somebody a bit more mature and polished. I wouldn’t read too much into it.

I’m sure that happens but Taylor doesn’t need anyone’s help selling stuff at this point. I’m sure she has fun with the attention, fan reactions, etc. but that’s different than constructing an entire PR relationship. I think the accusations came from the manipulations they used to “float” their relationship. The thing is it WAS a PR stunt, the convertible, Taylor being in the stands, the bracelet all were 100% manipulation and PR. Everyone felt that. The thing is, it looked staged because it WAS. The question was did they stage it just to get publicity or did they stage it to announce the relationship. Now that it has been a month or so, it is looking like they did it to announce the relationship. But still, the PR announcement was a PR announcement, and people were responding to the feeling of being manipulated and watching a staged event. They were, but the intent may not have been to just get publicity.

It wasn't the fact she showed up at his games or that they were spotted places together. I'm sure there would have been gossip/attention about that no matter what. But the attention hit a fever pitch because of all the photos of them walking through the stadium holding hands, the convertible, her showing up to the game agains the Jets with a gaggle of famous people, etc. There was a low key way to do this that would have reduced the focus/attention. They chose to do it in the showiest way possible, which is weird.

It does appear to be a real relationship but I also think it's extremely weird to go out of your way to attract this much attention to a new romance. It seems like Taylor would have an interest in being more private with her relationships, and in the past she has been somewhat more private. It's weird.

Most of those photos were from the public. Taylor cannot control what people post on social media and it’s unfair to expect someone to hide so that you don’t see her in US Weekly. All of those activities seem completely normal, if not toned down, for a sports WAG.

And while Taylor can’t control what TV broadcasters show, I bet she asked for compensation for use of her NIL during broadcasts. NBC went way overboard and there are fewer shots of her now in the stands.

PP. first, you misunderstand me. It’s not hatred at all. I think Taylor is a genius in the way that she handles her career and her image. And I like a lot of her music post-Reputation. But there’s a difference between her being a hermit and having every member of her boyfriend’s family give interviews about her or her being photographed so frequently with a boyfriend. She was with Joe for what 8 years and wasn’t photographed this frequently. She also wasn’t photographed as much with Matty Healy as well. It’s not some organic happenstance. She also wasn’t hanging out with the girlfriends of Calvin Harris or Tom Hiddleston or whoever’s coworkers/ friends. The relationship and HOW she is releasing it to the public is clearly part of a broader strategy for whatever new era she is moving into. I don’t even think the relationship is necessarily fake but Travis, besides being white, is not her usual type and she isn’t his.
