The color is showing as a choice on the Toyota website, but not in stock anywhere. Its a minivan, not some kind of rare, designer model.

I have always wanted a blue car. I can never seem to buy one. Mostly because I want the cheapest car available and what’s on the lot is usually cheaper than the dealer ordering it for you.

I think with Covid a lot of manufacturing is down and companies are limiting production to the most popular options. I had trouble getting a microwave with the right trim kit recently because they’re making all of them in stainless, not the less popular black which is what I wanted.

If you’re willing to wait, presumably you could order the one you want made for you.

I can usually get the color I want with patience. I just shop their online deals each day til something pops up. Do you need something quick?

Yes! I wanted a navy odyssey with tan seats. No navy on the lot when I wanted to buy and navy only comes with gray. Insane when you're paying full price for a new car.

DH really had trouble with the car he wanted. We ended up buying from the midwest and had to fly out and drive it home. Annoying that you can't order direct from the factory. I hope Tesla changes the way cars are purchased. The middle man is a huge problem now.

Tell the dealer the color you want. They can trade for it with other dealers nearby.
