| If your team has done an outstanding job please share what they have done well. |
| Outstanding job in what way? Different people have different desired outcomes- a club that does a good job of preparing kids for NVSL teams is different from a team trying to get kids onto college teams. Both exist and both likely have happy members |

Op again
Here are the criteria I’m thinking about 1. Have the kids stayed motivated during the pandemic? 2. Have you been satisfied with the number of meets? 3. Has the team communicated their season hopes and ideas? 4. Is your kid happy? |
|
Most are full so its more going to be where you can get a spot vs. outstanding right now. The outstanding ones are probably pretty full.
|
| And on the flip side is anyone not happy with their team and why? |
|
NCAP is probably having the most meets, etc. But since they are duals/tris/etc - it is heavily focused on the older kids. Club swim generally is though. Where summer swim was on the younger. So what age are you talking about?
And, like the PP stated, most teams are not taking new swimmers this year. |
| we have been happy with Fish at the younger ages |
| I wish the number of meets was zero this year. It just does not seem worth the risk. We are doing practice though. |
They have been mostly safe. I think that NCAP having one every weekend it is a bit dangerous. |

We are happy with York. Previously, I was not happy with Marlins, although my kid never complained.
1) Staying motivated during Pandemic? Well, my kid hated Zoom practices, but as soon as they were back in the water he was happy. 2) Satisfied with number of meets? No meets yet, one scheduled for December with very limited numbers of swimmers, so I'm good with that. 3) Communicated season's hopes? No. But that's not a big deal to me. If I had a question or concern, they would get back to me quickly but otherwise we don't get much feedback. 4) Is your kid happy? He's so happy to be in the water. |
Regarding #2, some older York swimmers had a meet this month, and there is a 4 day championship meet in December. |
| Happy with Marlins this year. My kid is motivated and happy. They've had two meets so far for age group kids and up. They always kept the lanes pretty uncrowded, so hasn't been too much of a shift to comply with the covid limits. |
| Happy with Fish. We had had one intrasquad meet with small number of kids. My kids technique has improved and she is happy to be practicing. The summer program was almost every day and the cost was very low. They have been swimming consistently since June and there has been no issues |
The lack of meets is poor. |
| How many kids are your teams allowing in a lane? |
