New Hyundai Sonata

Nice car or not? They have a 0%/72 months deal going on and I'm tempted to upgrade from my Honda Civic.

I always thought Hyuandais were junk, but that was maybe 20-25 years ago.

It's entirely possible that Hyundai makes a more reliable car now (as opposed to 20-25 years ago), but that doesn't mean it would be an upgrade from a Honda.

The equivalent Honda model would be the Accord. Compare and contrast.

I think it's a good car. I've rented and enjoyed driving them.

I owned a 2002 Elantra years ago. It was a great car with a great warranty. I would definitely buy another Hyundai.

I am all over Korean cars - they have great warranties, are really good values, and have proven themselves to be very reliable.

The design is hideous, especially the front end, but if you like it, or don't care, go for it!

Hyundai is a lot better than it used to be. I would trust it to last longer than domestic brands.

Honda also isn’t as reliable as it used to be.

I think the two brands are fairly comparable in terms of reliability, and Hyundai has the better warranty. Honda has better resale value though.

I don't know what the current model looks like, but we've been very happy with our 2013 Sonata. Still going strong.

Sonata, previous model was incredibly reliable. Good power, great gas mileage, no complaints. Don't like styling on the new one. Check the Kia equivalent. Very good looking car.

It’s not a nice car, but it’s not supposed to be. It’s supposed to be cheap. Honda quality has gone way down hill. I wouldn’t realy expect any new car today to last 10 good years.

Hyundai?Best car around! I have an 8 year old car and a 17 year old. They honor the warranty...even an engine replacement..even an engine replacement in a car that was purchased through Carmax, 2nd owner, a particular recall issue. They are reliable, super performance, better than any Honda or Toyota.

I don't know why anyone would believe this. Cars are more reliable than ever.

Ditto. Cars simply last longer and are better made now.

Hyundais having been getting pretty good reviews lately. My daughter has a Kona and loves it. I think they have a much better reputation than Kia. I also think they are pretty comparable to Honda.
