FSAFEDS Dependent Care Election for 2021?

| Does anyone know if we will be able to decrease our election for FSAFEDS during the year (via a QLE) if the pandemic continues to prevent us from sending our kid to camps/daycare in 2021? |

| Do you have to keep it up, or can you just change right now during open season? I never used an FSA because I don’t like the idea that they can just take MY money if I wind up not using it all. I take the childcare credit on my taxes instead. |

Decision to allow mid-year adjustment will be up to OPM, like it was this calendar year. Closures of daycares in the spring were considered a qualifying life event.
