+1. It's a great school but all the girls who went there were such b*tches. Sacred Heart is lovely. Have you thought about Greenwich Country Day?

Op here - Thanks. I like the all girl aspect and I was under the impression that gcds not as academically rigorous and mostly greenwich families. We’re living in surrounding town.

^^ op be aware that the single gender school has strong ties to boys schools - they are very active socially in that Dept. But I agree for studying it is ideal to have single gender classrooms.

I think they are comparable. GA may be a little stronger. If you don’t mind the religious component, you may want to look at Holy Child in Rye. GCDS just merged with Stanwich School and now has a high school. I think academics are pretty strong because they are a feeder for boarding schools since they haven’t traditionally had a high school. A lot of back country kids, but a strong environmental component. George Bush is an alum and it worked out pretty well for him.

Greenwich academy is stronger academically. Not that Sacred Heart is weak… just not as strong as Greenwich Academy. Also, for high school at Greenwich Academy, classes are coed (with the guys from Brunswick).
