winter soccer for Kindergartener?

Wow. There is a separate forum for...soccer? Clearly newbie in the world of kid sports. My kid this year is being homeschooled and I want to enroll him in some organized sports...soccer is good as any. Do you know any leagues holding winter sessions? Thanks!

This is for Bethesda/Chevy Chase.

Not sure if this is a serious question. Would not start a young child with a new sport which is typically played outdoors in the winter.

Before Covid there might have been an indoor option, and maybe there still is (and will be?). If you really want to inspire them to play soccer buy a size 3 soccer ball some pugg goals and find an open field (until your government make that a crime).

Would maybe look into joining a team close to home in the spring.

Np- i contacted msi and they do not have anything for a kindergartner until spring.

Bethesda juniors is the only one I know but you may not want to pay that amount for a new kid in the winter.

You can also check koa, kidball, i9 sports.

Bethesda Juniors is $225 for 8 weeks. I wouldn’t call that expensive.

Get out of your dcum bubble pp. Its more expensive than most other companies listed above and msi is about $100 for a similar time frame.

I'm not saying its not worth it (great coaches) but OP is asking for a 5 year old.

Just realize that everyone doesn't make your paycheck and have the ability to look from other's perspective.

Plus I was actually referring to a 5 year old new to soccer in 50 degree weather outdoors may be a risky gamble. They may flake.
