No way Tyler works for LifeWay or we would have already heard about it by now, from him. He brags and touts every minor association or partnership he has. I'm sure we would have heard of his primary employer by now, if he had one.

I think Tyler mentioned something in his book about some kind of collaboration with Lifeway, but I don't think there's a current association there.

Me Camp appears to be taking place in Hammonton, NJ, so whoever called the "it always takes place in a smaller, very WHITE town" nailed it. Also close enough that she and her beasties and she and Tyler can do weekender trips to NYC during the month-long duration.

Jen doesn’t attend a church because she has to be the main character. There are many churches in Austin that welcome all. She can’t be a visitor or member. She needs all the attention.

I know Hammonton, ha. South Jersey all the way. It’s a fine town and all but a far cry from Bar Harbor, ME. It has some nearby wineries. Wonder why she honed in on this place?

Probably for it's proximity to NYC. She'll likely post some cutesy pics of Hammonton and then spend the bulk of her time in NYC.

This is so accurate. I saw a comment on her Me Camp post yesterday where someone was offering her their Airbnb for next year.

I was on the IG of a popular Christian writer and speaker, and I am cringing because she is sliding into Jen territory and I don't like it. Lots of what look like expensive trips, nicer and nicer makeup and clothes, etc. Christian publishing and podcasting can't make THAT much, can it? To afford business class flights?

But she hasn't reached the point of comparing her struggles to the crucifixion of Christ yet ( a la Jen's infamous Good Friday-I lost my publishing contract post)

Jen's story, while thankfully not over yet, is still a cautionary tale.

so she starts recording while she is already crying and is apologizing that she can’t speak, can’t get the words out, so sorry, etc — hello you are the one recording you can start whenever you want and you very intentionally started while “crying”, it all seems so ridiculously staged 🙄
