| I’ve been driving the same Honda for about 11 years. Now I am married with a baby and I am feeling like I need a baker car for safety reasons. Also I need more storage. Should I get a midsize SUV or would it make more sense to get a three row car? I am not sure if we will have another kid but we are early thirties so maybe. |
| Depends on if you're planning on having any more kids. |
| A compact SUV like a CRV should be good. Go take a look at it. |

If you need a baker's car; get a ford transit. You can put lots of bread in it.
Other than that, where do you live? In DC? Get a small or midsize SUV, RAV4/CRV/Escape. They'll kinda fit into a trader joes/whole foods parking lot. Anything bigger and you'll hate your life. Outer Suburbs/Exurbs? Whatever you want - Suburban? |
Also depends on whether you care about how habitable the planet your kids live on is. I've got two teen boys who have hit 6 feet and we still do just fine with a mid-size car. In fact it is the same car we had when the first was born. |
OP. I obviously text more about bread than bigger cars. |
| You're asking if you need a third row SUV for a single baby? You know you don't, so why not explain why you want the third row in reality. It's not for a carseat. |
Close in suburbs. Before kiddo I walked or metroed everywhere. But now I’m driving all over the place. Good point about TJ and the like. |
