Toyota Venza?

Anonymous
Does anyone have one or has test driven one? I’m starting to think about a new car and want a hybrid and this one intrigues me. Would love to hear any thoughts.

Thanks

You'll want to compare it with a RAV4 Hybrid. Same drivetrain, same size, but the Venza is kind of a Lexus lite (nicer materials, more sound-deadening, better noise/vibration/handling).

My BIL loves his.

Camry chassis platform and running gear. Boringly reliable.

"Venza" is the Japanese pronunciation of toilet seat.

And this is relevant to a car sold in the US, how?

This. Probably the best front wheel drive crossover out there.

If you want AWD, there are other options.

Toyota Camry is from the Japanese word for Crown.
Toyota Corolla means (in Latin) little Crown.

I test drove it and hated it...felt like I was driving a station wagon.

I saw one in person recently and it looked really low to the ground compared to other crossovers and SUVs I’m used to. I’m still looking to take a test drive.
