A trustworthy OEM car parts site?

I am looking for some OEM car parts and wondered if anybody had a trustworthy company or site to go to.

There is not one site. Usually what you need to do is find a dealer that is selling at heavy discount. Many of them will list on eBay. Ironically I trust eBay more than Amazon these days for authenticity.

A lot of dealers are selling parts online for less than the local dealers. I’ve bought Honda parts from random Honda dealers around the country who are undercutting their competitors. Call your local dealer and get a price, then go online and see if anyone is beating it.

Depending on your car brand there may be specialty sites (for example, fcpeuro, eeuroparts). For our Nissan Pathfinder we have used random dealers across the country as well as local dealers. In fact the local dealer can be quite helpful - but you might have to try a few to see who’s the best.

I agree with the PP who suggested avoiding Amazon. We’ve bought some suspect stuff that way and I refuse to use them anymore.

We also like Napa and AutoZone for local options
