When will my ballot be counted (MD)?

This is the first time we voted early. Ballots were put into Dropbox and we got the email saying they were received. Will they be tallied today or only if the contest is close?

They will be counted. But I don’t know when. Mine is taking awhile too.

I've been obsessing about this too, but am choosing to be hopeful that all ballots received will be counted.

If you dropped it off before October 21 it will be reported with in-person votes. If you dropped it off after Oct 21 it will not be counted until after the in-person votes have been all counted, not sure when that is.

I dropped mine in the Dropbox on 10/17, got the email it was received on 10/19, and got the email it was counted like three days ago.

in MD, it doesn't really matter. i got email saying mine is counted a couple days ago.

Mine still says it's been received but not accepted. I'm sure they will all be counted -- but what if there's an issue? There won't be time to correct it past today (or vote a provisional ballot). That's my concern.

If they received it after Oct 21 I don’t think it will be counted anytime soon.

I just got my "counted" notice yesterday

Mine was counted 2 days ago - I sent it in 3-4 weeks ago. The MoCo BOE has sent a few messages confirming that votes will be counted. The rejection rate so far is only 5 ballots. If the oath isn't signed they are actually calling people to come in and sign it. They don't cross check signatures.

I dropped off on 10/19, got email that it was received a few days later, then just got an email this morning that it was counted.

Thanks for this! It’s very reassuring. I put mine in a drop box on the 26th, and I’ve been nervous. My plan was to vote in person today — if there were any problems.
