| I’ll go first. I said no to a spot at Murch-5th grade. |
| No to a 2nd grade spot at Hyde-Addison. |
| Anyone say no to PK4? |
| Why only ask about NW schools? No one else counts? |
| Someone was demanding it in another thread. But by all means...post your school. |
| Walker-Jones, PK3. |
We said yes to prek4, but out principal said not all spots are filled yet...so there are plenty of people who are turning down. But I am skeptical that it will happen at all now....unfortunately. |
| Poster in another thread stated hat a NW elementary school couldn't find 11 students in a grade to accept an in-person slot. No one believed the poster since we all know parents salivating over these slots and arguing against the current plan because their own kids aren't included and there doesn't appear to be a follow up plan that includes their kids. |
| Well, I guess some of you have it wrong then. |
Why on earth would you say no? Not a cares spot? A real in person learning spot? Like the Olden days of 2019 with a live teacher and live classmates? You see to see a therapist for Covid anxiety. You must still be quarantining your mail. |
Not sure if you’re referring to my thread but it is still true for my NW EOTP Title 1 school. |
Maybe DL is working for the child? |
My kid is doing fine with dl. It’s not that big of a deal and the teachers are doing a great job. The principal also sent out an email saying that the inperson teacher would be doing both to limit disruption. So my kid would still be getting half of their instruction virtually. |
Sure, some people will turn it down, but not most people, and no so many people they cant fill a class of 11. |
