I posted this in the Daycare Forum, but thought I would try here as well to maybe get some people who have experience with the centers but may not look at that forum. My friend is pregnant and thinking of going to look at both, does anyone have any experience with either? Thanks.

I have heard that the waitlists are long for both places.

I go to First Baptist and really like it. In the infant room, some of the caregivers have been there 20 years. There is a very good sense of community and many of the parents know each other and are involved with the center. Once per month the center holds "Hurried Family Dinner" where church members host a dinner for the families. There is a huge indoor auditorium where the kids can run around and play. It is located right behind Johns Hopkin's SAIS. The waitlist is about 14 months, although it took us 10 months. Current fees are $1175 for 1 year and under. Over two, I think it goes down by $100 per month.
