Looking for a fantastic, hands-on sewing and crafts program? Handwork Studio comes from PA to the DC area. Sessions will be held at Sidwell Friends School on the Washington, DC campus. See the details at: http://www.thehandworkstudio.com/index.html. Sessions 6/14-18, and 4 weeks in August!

Handwork Day Camp / Grades K-6
Campers will have a blast each day participating in creative activities such as knitting, crocheting, machine sewing, and making crafts. Gender appropriate projects include backpacks, flip-flops, room décor, toys, fashion accessories, and more. Each week, campers will have new projects to choose from.

* New this year: “Handwork Kit” filled with our favorite supplies. Each camper will take home a sampling of our favorite tools so they can practice at home (One kit per camper each summer.)

* Full Day 9:00am-3:00pm,
* Half Day 9:00am-1:00pm
* Afternoon 1:00pm-3:00pm


Machine Sewing Camp / Grades 5-10
Campers begin each week by choosing several patterns from our large selection of projects which include pajamas, hoodies, skirts, quilts, bags, and so much more. While creating their projects, campers will learn pattern reading, measurements, and sewing techniques from our expert staff. Come back week after week to improve your skills and challenge yourself with new patterns. * New this year: “Sewing Kit” filled with our favorite supplies. Each camper will take home a sampling of our favorite tools so they can practice at home. (One kit per camper each summer.)
