Best Resource for Finding Private Schools In Other Cities

We may be moving and I'm interested in looking at privates in other cities (probably more than one city to assess our options for moving). Does anyone know the best resource?

When we were thinking of moving, I posted some questions on a website called city-data.com, which has forums for most major cities. You can also try greatschools.com for reviews, but those are sometimes by students or parents who feel very strongly one way or the other, and I didn't find them so helpful. Don't know if these are the best; we ended up not leaving, so I didn't pursue the research very far. Good luck.

Can you name the cities? Someone might be able to help.

Did you already strike out on Google? I just googled "private schools St. Louis" and got, in addition to a bunch of individual school links, a link for the Independent Schools Association of St. Louis, which probably lists all their member schools. I know similar associations exist for other areas. Probably not a bad place to start.
