New car?

BMW, Audi, Mercedes, or Acura? Buying an SUV. I don’t need the 3rd row anymore. I currently own a Honda Pilot.

None.

Why don’t you want another pilot? I’m looking at the Mercedes gle right now, and it’s about $20k more than the pilot. I’m not convinced it’s worth it.

I’m on my second Pilot. I love it, but I thought I should try something different.

We have owned tons of Honda's. Our last two CRV 2013 stinks and we bought two at the time both stink. 2016 Van, 2017 Pilot never again. Engines all have issues. Same with RDX.

Get a Jeep. Remove the doors. Enjoy life.

Why not Lexus?

Of that list I would get Lexus for reliability.

IRL I would get a Toyota, but if you're set on a luxury brand get the luxury Toyota. I have heard that Honda reliability is down, which is a bummer as a former 2-time Civic owner.

Now I see that it's not even on the list. I imagined it. A Lexus mirage.

We have an Audi and Acura. The Audi is so much nicer. We are about to get rid of the Acura for a bmw, x7 though. We need 3 rows. We also considered Mercedes but I like the interior of the bmw better. That being said, of course Audi / Mercedes/ bmw maintenance is much higher and this isn’t the most financially sound/ conservative choice. However, at this point in life, we have the money and we want to drive something nice.

Why do you need an SUV?

Get an X3 or X5. Drive both and see what size suits you.

I need an suv. Car seats and older kids. I am leaning towards the Acura. The problem is I am so used to the legroom and space in the Pilot.

That being said, I love the X5!

Since you like German and Japanese cars you should also consider Italian cars. That way the whole axis of evil from WWII is included.
