My husband was out of town all last week and I have 2 small kids. I hired somone after the first storm hit to clear our driveway. Afterwards, I was chatting with the neighbors (who we are friendly with but not friends with) and mentioned my husband being out of town. After the 2nd storm my neighbor cleared all the snow on our driveway and my other neighbor helped out as well. I called them to say thank you. I was thinking of giving some kind of small token gift with a thank you card. Any suggestions as to what it should be or do you think a thank you card is enough? |
Card alone sounds nice. Or maybe something home baked along with a card. |
Do they drink? Nice bottle of wine, good beer... Or like someone else suggested card and baked goods |
I agree with PP...I was thinking some home made cookies, muffins or pie. |
I made my neighbors some decadent chocolate cupcakes after they so kindly shoveled my sidewalk. |
I also think that a nice homemade dessert would be wonderful. |
wine and a thank you card and a bag of ice melt |
