I am 7 weeks today and started having brown discharge. It shouldn't be from irritation (no recent sex due to morning sickness). Has anyone had this and still been okay? I'm afraid this isn't a good sign...
Go rest with your feet up. Can’t hurt. Fingers crossed for you.
Had same thing. Called doc and he said to rest with feet up. Never happened again.
|
Have you had an ultrasound? Was there any sort of black area (other than the gestational sac) in view? If so it could be a subchorionic hematoma (SCH) which, while they can bleed, usually don’t do damage to the pregnancy, especially early on.
Putting your feet up and resting sounds like a good idea! |
OP here, my scan is Friday morning. Trying to realize worrying won't change the outcome. I am kind of dreading my scan now. I hate infertility ☹️
Happened to me, too, 7-8 weeks after fresh cycle. RE said it was likely cervical irritation from the endometrin progesterone suppository thingies. Went away after a few days but was nerve wracking - happened 9.5 years ago, but I remember it like it was yesterday. Completely uneventful twin pregnancy after that initial scare. Will think good thoughts for you. IF sucks.
Yes, happened to me. Pregnancy was viable. Good luck.
This happened to me from 7-10 weeks. I am currently 14 weeks along. Doctor said not to worry (which obviouly isn't easy), especially if it isnt bright red.
This happened to me with all three of my viable pregnancies, including twin IVF pregnancy.
I had the same with both my boys. I know it is nerve wracking but hang in there and don’t assume the worst! Best of luck.
I had bleeding/spotting throughout my first trimester and now she’s one year old. Good luck to you!
I had to wear a pad off and on for the first 15 wks. I bled brown blood and sometimes bright red. My child was born full term and is now an energetic 8 year old.
OP here, thanks ladies! The spotting stopped and I guess we'll just wait and see what the scan shows tomorrow. I really appreciate the positive stories!
