How long does leftover baked ziti last?

Anonymous
I made a baked ziti with Italian sausage, ricotta and other cheeses on Saturday during the snowstorm. Brought some in to work this morning. It doesn't smell bad. Would you eat it? How long does leftover baked ziti last? It has been refrigerated since Saturday.

I use a 1 week rule for cooked leftovers. I think I have read something that 3 days is a better guideline though.

I just had leftover baked penne for lunch. so yummy!

3 days to be safe.

I use the 3 day rule with ingredients like sausage, ricotta, and other highly "perishable" foods (fish, pork chops, cream sauces, etc.). But if the ingredients are fresh (newly opened) than I consider it safe a little longer.

If the ingredients are "plain jane" - like only noodles, soup, etc. than 1 week.
