Has anyone been over the Bay Bridge?

I'm contemplating heading to relatives in DE for some R&R this weekend--has anyone been over the bridge? How are the roads?

I'll be watching this post as well, since I have to drive across the bridge tomorrow morning to pick up my mom (who has been recovering from knee replacement surgery on the Eastern Shore. We were supposed to get her last weekend but that got postponed - obviously!)

From what I understand wind is a bigger issue than snow because they are very very good about constant upkeep on the bridge..today doesn't seem to be so windy so I am sure you will be fine..just take it slow-you can google bay bridge and get the website and they have a live cam of the bridge if you want a closer look before driving.

Talked with my mom and she is all ready to head home tomorrow. (She's getting her neighbors to shovel out her parking place and her bags are all packed - she's been away with the surgery/recovery since early January... and is really looking forward to getting home.)
