Can anyone recommend an obgyn practice in the dc metro? This is my first pregnancy through IVF and I’m very anxious. Not sure where to even start looking. |
I’m okay with anyone in DC/Va/MD area. |
I am using MedStar in G'town and am very happy with them so far(no deliver yet). |
Bloom OB/GYN in Tenley, DC is great. Followed Dr. Loveland there from RHJN. Don't go to RHJN - its a factory. |
Dr. Anita Sikand has an office on M street and another in Arlington. Given my own anxieties, I really liked her calm style during my IVF pregnancy. Congratulations, and best of luck! |
Agree with Bloom. I actually just switched to them for GYN as well because when I called RHJN for my annual check up I was number 23. I called Bloom and had an appt in approx 30 seconds. |
Kleinerman in North Bethesda |
If you are near WHC, I liked the OBs there. I think first you need to figure out which hospital you want to use. |
Thank you everyone. I would love some recommends in Nova as well. |
Are you seeing a fertility specialist already? I asked my fertility doctor for an OBGYN recommendation that used my preferred hospital and was pleased. It made the transition very easy once I got pregnant. It is Capital Women's Care in Fairfax; she specifically recommended Dr. Silas but I like most of the doctors there. |
Love Dr Casabadan with Healthcare for Women. All the other doctors are great as well. They deliver at VHC and have offices in Arlington and Reston. |
Also I agree with PP. First pick the hospital and then the doctor. |
