I had a very large fibroid removed in a myomectomy (or however you spell that...a csection-like surgery as opposed to laprascopic though they did try that first) at Holy Cross, but it was in late January before Covid. I was in the hospital for three nights but then had to go back when I got an infection which was waaaaay worse. Anyway, I was told I couldn’t do an FET til six months had passed, which I believe is pretty standard procedure. A friend who is a surgeon at WHC claims he feels safer at the hospital than anywhere else and you would certainly not be on a Covid wing. That, combined with the wait you will have after surgery anyway, would probably push me into the camp of proceeding with surgery. But everyone has a different tolerance for risk.
FWIW, I am not a fan of Holy Cross at all but loved my surgeon and that’s where he operates so that’s where I had to go.
