Dd bday is in the winter. Would like to have a party. Will ask everyone to wear masks, not serve a meal and may have cupcakes to go. Was thinking of renting out a room at a rec center or maybe a library. Don’t know if you are even allowed to have a bday party at a library. I know my moms group hosted parties/play dates at the library during non covid times.
What do you think about a party in a big party room with entertainment? Would you attend? |
We wouldn’t attend, sorry ![]() |
Absolutely not. You are really stingy not to serve food. |
Good god no. Terrible idea. |
No way. Skip the big bday celebration this year, like the rest of us are doing. Small family party at home. |
NOPE! My daughter has a winter birthday. We will have cake and a few gifts at home. FT calls and cards with friends and family.
My kids both know and accept that holidays and celebration ps will be different for a little while. Thankfully, we don't do overblown celebrations anyway. |
No!!!
Do you EVER want our kids back in school? Please stop with this nonsense. SELFISH! |
Oh, yay! A covid herd party!
Sign us up please! Need my immunity |
Wouldn’t attend, sorry. My dd has a winter birthday and we’re aiming for a “half birthday” party, outdoors if necessary, in the summer. |
This is an easy decision-- no, we would not attend. One of my DCs has a winter birthday and we will either just do a family party at home, or we will allow him to invite 1-2 friends over for hot cocoa and playing in the backyard. |
We would consider if it were outdoors. For a good friend, we would definitely come to a small outdoor winter party, bundled up, rain or shine. It does not get cold enough here for it to be a problem to be outdoors for a couple hours. |
Nope. Bday parties are at home and low key this year. |
Cocoa in the playground or family party at home. Not indoors, OP. |
I’m probably planning small & outdoors for my two winter bday kids. |
