Cervical Mucous, but (-) OPK -maybe TMI

Anonymous
This might be TMI, so good thing this is anonymous...

The OPK was negative, but I thought yellowish/silky CM was so supposed to indicate a good chance of getting pregnant. So, is the CM due to something else?

FWIW, I'm still bfing which I know is probably not helping, but at the same time I don't want to give it up in fear that I will never get this opportunity again.

It's the egg white cm that you need. If it's creamy then you still have a chance, but best is the egg white, which usually comes 3 days before ovulation (just in time for conception sex!)

And if you can't tell the difference, just track how long you tend to get the CM. I know that I generally get it for 4-5 days, so that the first few days are less important than the last few days (which are heavier/better).
