Bleeding on 10 DPO

So I am having a little bleeding (not a lot) on my day 10 dpo. So I shouldn’t get my period for another week, and my period is usually 28-30 days (which means 9 days away if it’s a a 30 day cycle. I thought maybe implantation bleeding, but from what I read these are light pink, right? Mine is bright red, brighter than period blood, almost more orangey red. Is this a “non implantation bleeding”? Like it was supposed to be implanting but it didn’t and that’s what I’m seeing?

If you are 10 days post ovulation that's day 24. So within the period window. I'd say period and not implantation.

OP here: I was thinking period too, but I just took a pregnancy test bc I am super nauseated and it’s positive. However the bleeding, even though is light, hasn’t stopped. At this point I’m really thinking chemical pregnancy or miscarriage.

At only 10 days DPO you have a positive along with weird bleeding? I wouldn’t chalk that up to a miscarriage right away. I’d take another one, the First Response ones with the pink lines, they get darker as your hormone levels increase. Or go see the doctor!

I’m now 12 dpo. I do plan on taking another test in a couple of days, but since the spotting hasn’t stopped, I’m trying not to get my hopes up.

Call doctor now. They can give you progesterone. Might help, might not but worth the call.

I wouldn’t either. I think probably implantation or you had sex. The cervix get really irritated when pregnant.

Thanks to those who replied. I started cramping a lot after posting here and the started having what feels like the crampiest and heaviest period of my life. So there goes that.
