Tennis competition for kids

Hello,

Our elementary age kids have done tennis lessons but would like to play games/ join a league for kids. We are in NWDC. Any thoughts for fall/winter/spring all helpful.

Google Montgomery County Tennis Association JTT. Fall league already started but maybe you could join a team this winter.

There are two options through USTA. You can sign them up for tournaments -- go to www.tennislink.usta.com and you should be able to navigate your way through it and sign them up. Their website is pretty subpar if you ask me but you should be able to figure it out. You will have to join USTA.

There is also USTA Junior Team Tennis, which is less competitive than tournaments. I am in northern Virginia and there's a league here - typically a team is put together by tennis pros at a club. You should ask the people your kids take lessons from if they know of any JTT teams forming that would be the right level for your kids.
