Frederick County Schools Remaining Virtual Through First Semester

Sigh, I was hoping for a hybrid reopening with the start of the second marking period.

But of course they approved sports re-starting....

There really are no good answers now. The fact that schools didn't open in at least hybrid a month ago puts us in this crappy position now.

The crappy position of having spared hundreds of people sickness and possibly a few deaths?

That sounds like a great position to me!

A lot of parents in my area of Frederick are figuring school will be virtual for the entire school year. Absent a vaccine, and the school system’s unwillingness to put in the hard work of the logistics of hybrid, there will be no in-school education for the 20-21 year.

No vaccine for us
By this point we should have herd immunity.
We need to go back! This is beyond ridiculous. Check out WHO's latest about lockdowns.
