Please recommend a router for Verizon Fios

I use google mesh, it work well and is easy to manage. There are tons of competitors that work just as well

Depends what you want. Most home networks consist of 4 components: modem, router, switch and wireless access point. These can be in a single device or a combination of devices. If you just want one wireless network and your house is small, then a single device will be fine. If your house is big and you want a simple solution, you may want to look into a modem and a mesh network although you can always attach the mesh to the Fios device. If you want to be able to segment the network to provide fast internet for work, parental controls for the kids, limited access for guests and IoT devices, and have flexible wireless without designed obsolesce, then you probably want to buy separate devices.

Wow this is helpful but also went over my head. Where would the best place be to go shopping for this stuff?
