According to this only 0.8% mail-in ballots in Montgomery County have been returned. All the other counties have much higher rates ranging from 6.6% in Prince George's County to 24.8% in Kent County. I put my ballot in the drop box last Thursday and the system hasn't updated yet to reflect that they've received it. So I'm thinking there may be many others in the same situation, and more people have returned ballots in MoCo than the stats suggest. |
| Was yours an e-mail ballot? They take longer to process. |
| I’m still waiting to receive my ballot. Note that the drop boxes aren’t all placed on the same date — so even if I had my ballot, the drop box that I plan to use won’t be available for two more weeks. It’s possible that rates might reflect a lot of things — including more people in Montgomery County who are either waiting for drop boxes or who plan to take their ballot to a polling station as that option becomes available. |
No it was was a paper ballot |
| OP here. Ballot has been confirmed received on the MD Board of Elections website. For folks who got paper mail-in ballots in MoCo and plan to drop in a drop box, it took about a week for the website to reflect that they received the ballot. |
| Which drop box did you use? I used the one in rockville city hall and it has been over a week and mine is not showing as received. |

| Still waiting on my paper mail-in ballot. I requested it over a month ago and the status has shown as “sent” on the BOE website for a couple of weeks. My husband requested his later and has already received it. Are others having a similar experience or does it sound like mine has gone missing? |
How do you confirm it was received? |
You can look it up here..... https://voterservices.elections.maryland.gov/VoterSearch |
| I received an email today (or maybe it came yesterday) saying my ballot had been received. I put mine in the Rockville City Hall drop box on Sept 28th. |
