Does anyone have any tips for substituting Whole wheat flour for regular flour in a chocolate chip cookie recipe (Toll House). Should I do half ww flour, half white flour? Or, can I use all WW flour?
Thanks! |
Either, gives a little bit nutty and chewier texture the more WW you use. Good any way you make them. We are almost through our last batch which was all WW. Enjoy!

Op, here. Nevermind, found this recipe: http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes.aspx/whole-wheat-chocolate-chip-cookies/391acf6b-df6c-49d3-894b-4ac705dc9cb2

We use WW everytime. Definitely also check out the King Arthur Flour site.
Look at the Whole Foods website. They have lots of great recipes, including baked goods that call for whole wheat pastry flour. We've been making the chocolate chip oat bars, and they're definitely tasty.
OP, here. Thanks, everyone! I have some cookie dough refrigerating right now (read on another thread that this really helps). I am using WW flour that I bought at the farmer's market last summer.
