Anyone know of a good place to buy gourmet anchovies and smoked shellfish in DC, Maryland or Virgina?

what makes them gourmet?
i feel like any whole foods or specialty food shop would have gourmet versions... whatever that means.

What distinguishes regular anchovies from gourmet ones? I am serious. I usually just buy anchovies, smoked oysters, etc at Rodman's or Whole Foods, but wonder if I am missing out on something even more tasty.

Sid Wainer is a company based out of MA, they have the BEST white anchovies which come packed in olive oil and lemon. Maybe you can call them and ask if the deliver to anyone in the area. I used to work for them and they ship orders everywhere.
