Divorce with grounds Question

Anonymous
What is special about filing for divorce with grounds in Virginia? I have to be a little vague on this site, but generally I know if you don't have grounds, you have to be separated for 12 months first in order to file for divorce without grounds. So, does that mean that if I can file with grounds, I do not have to wait that 12 months? Do I get on a docket faster? Does it impact my ability to move out with the kids? I'm not sure I understand the importance of it.

Thanks for any help!
