Freaking out about my betas

Anonymous
I was really excited when I got my first beta back for my hatching blastocyst on 12dp5dt and it was 476, the highest I’ve ever had. Then, on 14dp5dt it was 997; doubled in less than 48 hours! So why am I freaking out so much that it’s not doubling more quickly? In my other successful pregnancies my numbers have started lower but doubled more quickly. In my miscarriage, they didnt double in 60+ hours.

I KNOW it says doubling of 48-72 hours but everyone I know has a much faster doubling time. Help me stop myself from going crazy (doctor has offered a repeat blood draw Monday for peace of mind though they don’t think it’s necessary and said things are great.) We’re going out of town so can’t do an ultrasound til nearly 7 weeks.

Do the repeat blood draw Monday- it may help calm your nerves. Your betas are really high and look great!! There is absolutely no reason to panic. Enjoy the weekend!

Agree with PP, although I understand the stress. Sending lots of good vibes your way 😊

Honestly, you need to step off the internet. Stop visiting this thread and any other pregnancy sites & threads. You’ll just make yourself crazy. Keep yourself busy: go for a hike, clean your closets, watch 58 episodes of Law & Order. Just focus on staying positive and know that you’ve done everything you can do.

Good luck. I’m sure it’s all fine.

Good luck today OP!

OP here- thank you for the comments! I’ve also started seeing a therapist specifically focused on issues of fertility and she helped me remember some grounding exercises to get myself out of this anxiety spiral!

And wouldn’t you know, I had an excellent beta this morning (6,500). Thank you for your support ❤️

This was a while ago, but I used these meditations when I was pregnant with my first after a long bout with infertility. I listened to them as I fell asleep and they really helped quiet my mind.
