We have a high risk member in our family but wanted to visit a farm this weekend where it wasn't too crowded and social distancing was easy. Any recommendations? |
What do you want to do at a farm? We have gone to Great Country and Hartland (both in Virginia) during COVID. Neither place has much in the way of apple picking at the moment--actually, Hartland had apple picking last weekend but a line of 100 cars trying to access the orchards so we skipped it and got lunch at their little farm market.
I did not feel either place was crowded or that it was hard to stay distant. Cannot swear that every person was wearing a mask at all times because some people are there to eat or drink. But did not feel either was higher risk than any other semi-popular outdoor setting. |
Where are you? Frying Pan Farm (Park), Claude Moore, etc. all come to mind, but they're opened year around. Nothing in particularly special .
Are you talking like these ^^ types of "farms" or more like orchards like Butlers, Great Country, and the like? Plus, do a search. This topic has come up like 5x in the past 2 weeks. |
