What Is Normal For Second Period After Egg Retrieval?

Hi! I had my first egg retrieval In August with a Lupron trigger. For a variety of reasons, I am not transferring any embryos at the moment, so I have not been on birth control or any other medicines since the retrieval. I got my period five days after the retrieval. I was expecting a second period 28 days later (now three days late), but nothing. Pregnancy test today is negative and BBT tracking indicates I ovulated 14 days ago. Did anyone else experience a delayed second cycle after IVF?

It depended on the protocol for me. My second period after egg retrieval was late by about 5 days when I used Lupron in my protocol, whether it was the long Lupron protocol or the microdose Lupron. I recently did an antagonist protocol and my second period was normal. Good luck!
